What is the Cornerstone Project?
The Cornerstone Project is a community transformation ministry of Four Seasons Community Church.
What is the purpose of the Cornerstone Project?
To see Christ become the Cornerstone of this community by mobilizing a network of individuals, churches, business and community organizations to provide spiritual, material and human resources for people of need in a way that is redemptive.
Short-term Objectives of the Cornerstone Project:
Purchase the Clifford Building (a.k.a. Cornerstone) at the corner of 10th and Madison in Covington (accomplished 1/1/2007)
Appoint a Project Director

Expand current ministry offerings at Cornerstone
(Ministry expansion is an ongoing process at Cornerstone. We presently host four community dinners monthly (sponsored by four different churches), weekly worship and Bible study in partnership with Cornerstone Church, and multiple prayer opportunities. Additional ministries opperate on a seasonal basis.)
Continue to seek new partnerships for ministry and fundraising
(ongoing)
Building renovation
(The Clifford Building is still in need of much repair. Present needs include: renovation of the bathroom and rear exit in 918 Madison, partial renovation of 916 Madison (to be used for children and family ministry), exterior painting, and renovation of unit #3. If you would like to help, contact Frankie Kropp)
Long-term Objectives of the Cornerstone Project:
Incorporate the project as a separate 501 c (3)
Complete the renovation of the storefronts
Start for-profit business to occupy the storefronts in order to generate revenue to be used to achieve project purposes while allowing the space to continue to be used in the evening and weekends for ministry.
