This video was created as an educational special feature for the film "The Soloist" staring Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx (although not for children, it is a wonderful movie about how one man's friendship with a homeless person challenges and changes his life).
"Beth's Story" may be fiction, but it depicts events that are all too common in our own neighborhood. As you can see, the issues of poverty and homelessness are often layered and complex.
