Cornerstone Project FAQ's
1. Does The Avenue Community Church intend to move to 10th and Madison?
No. While The Avenue does host a Sunday morning Bible discussion at Cornerstone, our primary meeting location will remain 2735 Ashland Ave. in Covington (in the lower level of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church).
2. How is the project funded?
Rental income is the primary source of funding for the Cornerstone Project. Additional resources come from gifts and grants. In the future, revenue will be generated by businesses located in the storefronts.
3. How is the money handled?
A separate account has been established by The Avenue Community Church to receive and disburse funds exclusively for the Cornerstone Project. This means that any gifts designated for the project will be used solely for that purpose.
4. Who makes decisions regarding the operations of the Cornerstone Project?
An appointed director guides the project as a member of the The Avenue Community Church Ministry Team. Oversight is the responsibility of the The Avenue Community Church Management Team.
