BUILDING MAINTENANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Cornerstone Renovation Opportunities
Significant renovation is planned for the Cornerstone building within the next few years in order to improve the existing ministry area. In addition, renovation is planned to bring the adjoining 1st floor space into usable condition to increase the ministry area and to enable the Cornerstone Project to eventually add a for-profit business that will assist with financial support for the Project.  Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:
  • Skilled trades - Electric, Carpentry, Plumbing, Exterior Painting
  • Consultation - National Historical Register renovation standards
  • Renovation design and contracting
  • Interior painting

Ongoing Maintenance Opportunities
Because of limited funding, the Cornerstone Project depends completely upon volunteers to maintain the Cornerstone ministry areas and apartments at the Clifford Building.  Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:
  • Ongoing cleaning of the ministry area
  • Window cleaning
  • Quarterly "deep cleaning" of the ministry area
  • Apartment maintenance (minor repairs, painting, maintaining common hallway areas)

If you are interested in assisting with Cornerstone renovations or ongoing maintenance, please contact Frankie Kropp or Mike Rowe.
